Metrum was appointed to project manage the construction of the Baia Mall, located on the beachfront facing Avenida da Marginal, 5 km from Maputo’s CBD and 5 km from Maputo International Airport.

CLIENT BRIEF
The client wanted to develop a mall with a total GLA of 30,500 m² which included the existing Game store measuring 5,500 m². The design made provision for several major anchor tenants, including Premier SuperSpar (5,000 m²), Woolworths (2,200 m²) as well as other local, national and international tenants.
The first floor comprises of a 150-bed hotel (the construction of which Metrum also project managed) and a variety of restaurants.
